We are seeking a seasoned Risk Manager to join our team in India. As a key member of our Financial Services department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the prudential risks associated with our regulated payment services are effectively managed.
About the RoleThe Prudential Risk Manager will be responsible for providing second-line oversight and support for prudential risks across various financial entities in Asia Pacific. This involves leading the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of risk management frameworks and setting risk appetite limits for our payments businesses.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies for prudential risks.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide guidance on prudential risks to finance, treasury, and accounting departments.
- Owning the creation and distribution of risk reports, including regulatory capital calculations, liquidity assessments, and stress-testing scenarios.
- Developing and implementing scenario analysis processes, conducting workshops with business leaders, and driving the adoption of best practices.
- Providing independent oversight on regulatory compliance and implementing new regulations into policies and procedures.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or a related field.
- Professional auditing qualifications or similar risk/compliance credentials.
- Experience working with SQL and Excel is essential.
