Computer Science Faculty Position

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced academics to join our faculty team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of computer science courses. They will also be expected to conduct original research in their field of expertise, publish scholarly articles, and engage in service activities within the department and university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and tutorials; develop course materials; provide academic support and guidance to students; evaluate student performance fairly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Research: Conduct original research in their field of expertise; publish scholarly articles, books, and/or other creative works; seek external funding to support research projects; collaborate with colleagues to promote research activities; mentor and advise graduate students on research projects.
  • Service: Participate in service activities within the department, school, and university; participate in departmental and university committees; engage in professional development activities; build and maintain relationships with community partners to promote the university and department.

Qualifications:

  • A PhD degree in the relevant field or Ph.D. pursuing;
  • Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels;
  • A record of scholarly research and publication in the relevant field;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
