Job Title: Quality Assurance Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate quality assurance test engineer with expertise in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain automation frameworks, write test scripts, and perform various types of testing.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • 1. Automation Framework Development:

Design, build, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with a programming language like Java.

  • 2. Test Script Development:

Develop, execute, and debug high-quality automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and relevant tools.

  • 3. Cross-Browser Testing:

Execute test cases across different browsers and platforms.

  • 4. Test Data Management:

Collect and manage test data for data-driven testing.

  • 5. Defect Reporting:

Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools.

  • 6. Collaboration:

Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders to ensure test objectives are met.

  • 7. Regression Testing:

Perform and manage regression testing to ensure application stability.

  • 8. CI/CD Integration:

Integrate automation tests into continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

The ideal candidate should have experience with the following skills and tools:

  • Required Skills & Tools:
  • Automation Tool: Selenium WebDriver
  • Programming Languages: Java (primary), with potential exposure to Python, C#
  • Testing Frameworks: TestNG or JUnit
  • BDD Frameworks: Cucumber
  • Project Management & Defect Tools: Jira, Confluence
  • Version Control: Git, Bitbucket
  • Build Tools: Maven or Gradle
  • API Testing Tools: Rest Assured
  • Methodologies: Agile, Scrum

  • Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments or tools like Kubernetes
  • Documentation: Creating test plans and conducting knowledge transfer sessions
