Sports Broadcast Motion Graphics Designer

We are seeking a skilled Motion Graphics Designer with experience in sports broadcast design to join our team. This role will involve developing and animating dynamic graphics for horse racing coverage, ensuring a seamless blend of live data, storytelling, and engaging visual presentation.

  • Create custom motion graphics for horse racing broadcasts, including show opens, transitions, bumpers, on-screen statistics, odds, and race data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with producers, editors, and sports analysts to translate racing data and narratives into compelling visuals.
  • Develop graphics templates for fast turnaround and live updates during race events.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and network broadcast standards.
  • Troubleshoot graphics in live broadcast environments and support technical integration with real-time graphics systems.
  • Maintain a library of reusable templates, assets, and branded elements.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in motion graphics design, preferably within sports broadcasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with real-time broadcast graphics platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong grasp of sports design aesthetics, particularly horse racing data.
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, pacing, and motion design principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Motion Design, Broadcast Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience working on-site at sports events or in live production environments.
  • Interest in or working knowledge of horse racing formats, terminology, and statistics.
