Product Innovation Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead and oversee the design and development of new products in the Consumer Durables sector. This includes managing innovation, reverse engineering existing products, and overseeing the operations of the Engineering and R&D department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the product design and development process to meet business objectives
  • Overseeing the operations of the Engineering and R&D department to ensure efficient product development
  • Implementing innovative strategies to enhance existing products and stay ahead of competitors
  • Managing budgeting and resource allocation for the department to optimize product delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations to minimize risk
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimize product development and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 14 years of overall experience in handling entire product life cycle for electronics appliances in the Consumer Durables industry
  • Sound knowledge of plastic products and moulds, with expertise in design for manufacturing and assembly
  • Open to relocate to a suitable location, preferably in Gujarat
