Project Power Manager

This is a key role in ABB's Process Automation business, focusing on the Energy Industries division. As a Project Engineer - Process Power Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering activities, ensuring quality deliverables, and contributing to the company's growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.
  • Handle testing, installation, and commissioning activities, preparing project documentation within scope.
  • Assist in preparing proposals/presentations for engineering projects/programs.
  • SUPPORT Contract Manager in change management.
  • Create work plans and cost estimates, reviewing and approving scope, budget, and schedule for assignments.
  • Complete risk and opportunity assessments for Power Management System-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure technical requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in engineering and commissioning of Power Management Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in designing substation network architecture and control systems.
  • Working knowledge of utility communication protocols like IEC 61850, OPC, Modbus, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree (4 years) or equivalent experience.
