Geotechnical Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Professional to lead and supervise geotechnical activities in a large-scale open pit mine operation with complex geological setting.

  • The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • A strong understanding of geotechnical principles and mining operations is essential for this role.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills are required to implement slope stabilization and monitoring schemes derived from simulation models.

About the Role:

The Geotechnical Professional will be responsible for conducting geotechnical studies, preparing pre-feasibility and feasibility reports, stability analysis, and simulation modeling for mine pit design.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and supervise geotechnical activities in a large-scale open pit mine operation with complex geological setting.
  2. Conduct geotechnical studies, prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports, stability analysis, and simulation modeling for mine pit design.
  3. Implement slope stabilization and monitoring schemes derived from simulation models.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology, Engineering Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and mining operations.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
