Job Title: Financial Planning AnalystJob Description:

As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the FP&A function by providing comprehensive and timely reporting. Your responsibilities will include updating budget/projection templates, monthly P&L and schedules, and budget management in SAP and other MIS/database requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of monthly management reports and schedules to assist decision-making and planning processes.
  2. Collection, data hygiene/clean-up, mapping, and presentation in excel templates/schedules and ppt.
  3. Scrutinizing actual financial data for General Ledger (GL), Cost Centre (CC) & Fund usage, spot any irregularities and make necessary corrections.
  4. Supporting annual budgeting process & quarterly projections as well as reporting on KPI's (including updating budget templates).
  5. Updating budgets in SAP, monitoring variances, and addressing queries related to budgets.
  6. Assisting with ad-hoc accounting and reporting needs of the finance department as they arise ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving financial demands.
  7. Partnering & Collaborating with Finance & other stakeholders daily, fostering effective communication.
  8. Identifying opportunities for process improvements & automation to increase efficiency & effectiveness in reporting and analysis.
  9. Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration (B.Com/BBA).
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
