  • Senior Site Reliability Engineer
Overview of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, chaos engineering or resilience testing, and multi-cloud or hybrid environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Terraform scripts for various tools and technologies, automating environment setup, deployments, and key rotation practices to ensure seamless operations.

This role requires strong collaboration with teams to implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will also define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.

Troubleshooting issues and coordinating bug fixes with developers is a critical part of this role. Monitoring processes and updating or creating new processes for improvement in a lean manner is also essential.

We are looking for a candidate who can plan and build automated processes where possible, select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools and pipelines, and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelines (CI/CD Pipeline) for various technologies and platforms.

Mentorship of team members on DevOps collaboration and monitoring customer experience and KPIs is also required.

Key Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing.
  • Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Ability to write clear runbooks and do postmortems.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, FiveTran, DBT Cloud, and other data-intensive systems.
  • Contributions to improving SRE practices, such as error budgets and blameless postmortems.
  • Experience with AWS, containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation.
  • Strong Linux background and thorough knowledge in DevOps practices and concepts.
