About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Artificial Intelligence (AI) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and deep learning techniques, with experience in developing and implementing AI solutions for accounting, tax, and audit workflows.
  • Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and integrating AI tools with existing software platforms, as well as training and fine-tuning machine learning models using company data.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring AI system performance, troubleshooting issues, and recommending enhancements, as well as staying up-to-date with emerging AI technology trends relevant to accounting and finance.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation, preferably in the accounting industry.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with natural language processing, OCR, and RPA tools is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with common accounting platforms and their APIs is an added advantage.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in US/Canadian tax, accounting, or audit process automation.
  • Certifications in AI/ML or data science.
  • Knowledge of US/Canadian data privacy and security regulations.
