Procurement Specialist

Executing procurement activities, coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining accurate records are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement activities according to established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
  • Track order deliveries, verify invoices, and liaise with the Finance team for payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor database, and ensure compliance with audit and documentation standards.
  • Support in preparing procurement reports and collecting feedback from users post-delivery.
  • Manage inventory of office supplies, marketing materials, and consumables.
  • Oversee asset movement and support implementation of asset tracking tools and internal audits.

Expected Deliverables

  • Develop a strong understanding of procurement policies, tools, and vendor ecosystem.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with documentation and internal controls.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of inventory and support asset tagging, movement tracking, and periodic physical verification.
  • Act as a responsive coordinator for internal procurement needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain operations within a mid to large-sized organization.
  • Proven track record in vendor sourcing, purchase order management, and inventory tracking.
  • Exposure to administrative functions such as managing office supplies, consumables, and asset tagging.

  • Strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle and inventory control practices.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and procurement software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-focused with a problem-solving attitude.
