Job Overview

Nuvae is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. As a member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning algorithms, GenAI, and RAG-based solutions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and RAG systems that integrate with healthcare workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks.
  • A solid background in Computer Science and Algorithms.
  • Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG systems.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in the following areas:

  • Vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus).
  • Prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong software engineering practices including version control, CI/CD, and API development.
  • Data pipelines, ETL, and healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience in building scalable AI-driven applications for production environments.
