Key Role: Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled automation engineer to join our organization.

  • To succeed in this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Playwright or Cypress.
  • You will also develop scalable mobile automation tests using Appium or native mobile tools.
  • In addition, you will write clean and maintainable automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • If required, you will implement BDD scenarios using Cucumber/Gherkin.
  • You will integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
  • Furthermore, you will conduct API and integration test automation using relevant tools.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You must have 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • You should have hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • A solid understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing, is essential.
  • You should be proficient in writing BDD scenarios if your tech stack includes Gherkin/Cucumber.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
  • A strong knowledge of REST API testing tools, such as Postman and JMeter, is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in Agile teams are crucial.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision are also required.
