Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Hardware Architect to design and build management system (BMS) hardware for energy storage systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in state-of-the-art designing, layout, compliance, EMI-EMC aspects, and the ability to own the delivery of modules/systems on-time and at quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in power electronics concepts, digital circuit design, analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, micro-processors, micro-controllers, and DSPs.

Additionally, they should have knowledge of regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries, such as UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730.

Experience with PCB layout constraints, Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries, simulation tools like P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and various sensing technologies is highly desirable.

A solid understanding of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products is also necessary.
