Backend Developer Position

We are looking for a seasoned SDE II Backend Engineer who is self-motivated, creative, and proactive.

The individual will collaborate closely with various stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, and troubleshooting and coordinating bug fixes.

You will work alongside a module lead and be part of an innovative Engineering team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining our software products.
  • Contributing to the ideation, technical design, implementation, and testing of product features that transform the capital markets.
  • Designing and delivering thoughtfully crafted REST APIs, interfaces, and database schemas to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Producing high-quality software following good architecture and design principles that are scalable.
  • Contribute to test automation within an agile development team.
  • Participating in and contributing actively to architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and postmortems.
  • Raising the bar for engineering best practices across the team.
  • Documenting changes and guides for the applications.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is mandatory or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in hands-on coding.
  • Experience in NodeJS, Typescript/Javascript.
  • Comfortable with sql and Nosql database technology.
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming experience with fintech lending is a plus.
