Key Responsibilities\

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems, including preparation of equipment layout drawings, piping material specifications, and hydraulic calculations.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including equipment layout, piping material specifications, and hydraulic calculations;\
  • Prepare technical datasheets for all rotary and static equipment; \
  • Conduct cross-checking of vendor GA's for various equipment; \
  • Prepare initial and final piping MTO (Material to Order); \
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as Process, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation;\
  • Prepare as-built drawings and ensure designers' responsibilities are adhered to under CDM regulations;\

Requirements\

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have relevant industry experience. They should also have a strong understanding of project commercial issues and constraints.

  • BE or B Tech in Mechanical Engineering;\
  • MIMechE/ MIET or equivalent professional qualifications;\
  • Detailed knowledge of the design process, engineering, and engineering design;\
  • Good understanding of project commercial issues and constraints;\
  • Appreciation of Health, Safety, and Environmental systems and procedures;\

Software Requirements\

The candidate should be proficient in software such as AutoCAD PID, OpenPlant PID, SmartPlant PID, OpenPlant Modeller, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF document management, Bentley ProjectWise.
