UX Designer Job Description

The UX designer will be responsible for creating user-friendly and intuitive designs that meet the needs of our users. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and turning them into buildable user experiences.

  • Job Summary: As a UX designer, you will be working on creating innovative design solutions that enhance user experience.
  • About You: To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of interaction design principles, strong portfolio, and 5+ years of professional experience in UX design.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced UX designer who can work closely with product management to turn product requirements into user-centered designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human-centered design principles, user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and collaboration.

  • Design compelling user experiences that allow users to accomplish their tasks easily and efficiently.
  • Work with product management to understand requirements and turn them into buildable user experiences, components or styles.
  • Collaborate with design team to produce user flows, sketches at various levels of fidelity, wireframes, clickable prototypes, and other similar tools to demonstrate and aid the validation of proposed design solutions.

Requirements:

To apply for this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Solid skills in interaction design and an understanding of overall user experience principles.
  • 3-5+ years of professional design experience, including user experience design of web applications.
  • Strong online portfolio that demonstrates a high-level of proficiency web app design for business applications of a similar complexity to the FinTech Enterprise Software domain.
  • Must possess good writing, presentation, and time management skills. Experience with appropriate software such as MS PowerPoint, Word, and OneDrive.
