Informatica PowerCenter Developer Role

As a Data Integration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter. Your primary objective will be to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load processed data into target data warehouses or data lakes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop ETL mappings, workflows, and sessions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Extract data from databases, flat files, and external APIs.
- Transform and cleanse data according to business needs.
- Load transformed data into target systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter development.
- Strong SQL skills and relational database experience (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
- Good understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting in Informatica.
- Experience working with CSV, XML, JSON, and scripting languages (Shell, Python) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
