Web Development Leader

We are seeking a seasoned and accomplished Web Development Manager with profound expertise in PHP frameworks, specifically Laravel and CodeIgniter, complemented by exceptional project management skills. This role will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and overseeing full-cycle web development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a cross-functional team of developers and project managers to deliver complex web applications.
  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter) and WordPress.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, from requirement gathering to delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Implement coding standards, architecture best practices, and project management methodologies (preferably PMP).
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance evaluations for the development team.
  • Manage resources, timelines, and communication between internal teams and external clients.
  • Ensure adherence to web standards, data security, and compliance protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development with a strong focus on PHP and WordPress.
  • Proven experience in leading web development teams and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in one or more PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter).
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, multisite, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with version control tools (Git), deployment tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  • Agile/Scrum project management experience.
