SAP Business One Azure Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Azure administrator to provide part-time remote support for SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering and supporting SAP B1 workloads, ensuring smooth operation, high availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and manage SAP Business One environments on Azure, including VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Resource Optimization: Manage Azure resources efficiently, ensuring cost optimization and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Disaster Recovery and High Availability: Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Requirements:
  • Azure Administration Experience: Proven hands-on experience as an Azure administrator (certification preferred).
  • SAP Business One Administration: Practical experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial).
  • Azure IaaS/PaaS Services: Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, backup).
  • Windows Server and Active Directory: Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
Nice to Have:
  • Azure Security Center and Azure Monitor: Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management.
  • SAP Integrations: Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications.
  • SAP Workload Migration: Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure.
  • IT Experience: 10+ years of IT experience.
