Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the integration of various content management systems with our search infrastructure. The role requires expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud-based indexing/search platforms, strong backend development skills in Python, TypeScript/NodeJS, .NET/Java, and familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating CMS with our search infrastructure, expanding the scope of our search capabilities to support non-traditional knowledge items, and enhancing customer self-service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Integrating CMS with our search infrastructure to enable seamless RAG-based search across diverse data types
  • Extending our search capabilities to ingest and index non-knowledge assets
  • Building secure, scalable connectors to read directly from customer-maintained indices and data repositories
  • Enabling self-service capabilities for customers to manage content sources
  • Collaborating with the NLP/AI team to optimize relevance and performance for RAG search pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with search infrastructure, RAG pipelines, and LLM-based applications
  • 5+ Years hands-on experience with cloud-based indexing/search platforms
  • Strong backend development skills and familiarity with building and consuming REST APIs
  • Infrastructure as a Code (IAAS) service like AWS Cloud Formation, CDK knowledge
  • Deep understanding of data ingestion pipelines, index management, and search query optimization
