Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Automation Specialist to join our team.

  • Develop automated scripts in Python to create a golden model within SQL Server for use in data validation and testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
  • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data.
  • Contribute to data automation strategies and reusable SQL test frameworks.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient data validation and transformation logic.
  • Work closely with data engineers, QA analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality data delivery.
Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in data automation with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly with YData-Synthetic / SDV (Synthetic Data Vault) / Gretel-Synthetics / SynthCity / DoppelGANger.
  • Experience working in CI/CD environments and integrating tests into automated pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mandatory experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Prior experience with MS SQL Server is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with GE Plant Applications is now essential, including knowledge of specific SQL database tables.
