Job Title: Murex Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Murex professional to join our team as a system expert. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support on Murex 3.1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and develop Murex systems in various aspects including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.
  • Analyze and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
  • Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.
  • Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.
  • Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.
  • Perform technical reviews of production changes.
  • Document issues and resolution within Confluence.
  • Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches.
  • Communicate directly with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors to test fixes or solutions.
  • Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.
  • Debug and enhance bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.
  • Strong technical capability.
  • Solid understanding of DataMart.
