Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting and will be responsible for preparing daily cash reporting for active private equity secondaries funds. This will involve collating data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts, as well as using internal data visualization tools to refresh and review the report.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds
  • Reconcile movements in capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity to prior day reporting
  • Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within the fund structures
  • Formulate proposals for near-term cash management, including loan drawdowns/repayments, money market fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades
  • Liaise with fund owners within the treasury team to review and agree proposals
  • Prepare loan instructions and FX instructions to send to administrators and other 3rd party service providers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA)
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with managing and/or leading employees
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparation of PCAP
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identifying ways to enhance processes and outcomes
  • Ability to prioritize a large and varied workload, managing multiple tasks and details simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
