Software Engineer

What you'll do

In this role, you'll work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools, collaborating with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Producing complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality that adds value to the business.
  • Working in permanent teams responsible for the full life cycle, from initial development through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
  • Collaborating to optimize our software engineering capability and contribute to the company's success.
  • Designing, producing, testing, and implementing working software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Working across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding to testing, deployment, and operations.

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong background in software engineering, software design, and architecture, as well as an understanding of how your area of expertise supports our customers.

You'll also need:

  • Experience working with AWS and associated infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with WAF, Cloud security governance, and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and associated toolsets.
  • A background in Identity and Access Management Domain and products like Ping Identity, Ping Access, Ping Federate, Ping Data Governance, Daon IdentityX.
  • Experience in Unix, SAML, OAuth / OIDC, Java Rest Webservices, Oracle Database, Unix, Shell scripting, Ansible.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools such as Introscope, App Dynamics, Splunk, Geneos, and AWS Monitoring tools.
