Test Automation Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using C# with Selenium WebDriver and SpecFlow for BDD-style testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute automation test plans and test cases across web-based applications.
  • Develop and utilize scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to enhance test automation and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Track and manage defects, bugs, and development tasks using JIRA, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation and to support test scenarios.
  • Generate and maintain test reports, dashboards, and key quality metrics for stakeholders.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and documentation of test strategies and coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with automated testing using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Knowledge of BDD-style testing with SpecFlow.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
