Backend Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable REST/GraphQL APIs for our frontend editor and client apps.

  • Design and Build Scalable APIs: Develop high-performance, secure, and maintainable APIs that meet the needs of our users.
  • Architect and Manage Multi-Tenant SaaS Infrastructure: Design and implement secure authentication, billing, and user/project management systems.
  • Implement Asset Management Pipelines: Set up efficient asset management pipelines with CDN integration for images, videos, and HTML5 bundles.
  • Set Up Role-Based Access Control: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions for teams/agencies using our platform.
  • Integrate Payment Gateways: Integrate payment gateways like Stripe and Razorpay for subscription management.
Requirements
  • Strong Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript: Experience with SaaS product architecture, authentication (OAuth/JWT), multi-tenant databases, and subscription models.
  • Hands-On Experience with Databases: Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firebase.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms AWS/GCP/Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
  • API Security, Scalability, and Performance Optimization: Strong knowledge of API security, scalability, and performance optimization techniques.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Prior Experience Building Creative SaaS Tools: Experience building design platforms, editors, adtech, and game engines.
  • WebSockets for Real-Time Collaboration: Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time collaboration.
