Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented income tax assistant to support clients in income tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file income tax returns within deadlines.
  • Assist clients with income tax payments and reconciliation.
  • Review and respond to income tax notices and queries.
  • Guide clients on income tax rules, exemptions, and tax-saving strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with TDS and advance tax payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of tax filings, payments, and correspondence.
  • Support clients during income tax assessments and audits.
  • Assist in PAN/TAN registration, modifications, and other tax-related formalities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Good typing skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of income tax laws, deductions, and compliance procedures.
  • Experience in income tax return filing and handling notices.
  • Experience in using accounting software for tax-related tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and resolve tax-related issues efficiently.
