Lead Data Modeling Specialist

The role involves leading the creation of logical and physical data models, including accurate metadata for data warehousing solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating conceptual data models to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships.
  • Experience with Erwin or relevant data modeling tools to generate logical and physical data models on Azure platform.
  • Performing data profiling/analysis activities to establish, modify, and maintain data models.
  • Communicating physical database designs and DBA explanations of features that may affect the physical data model.

Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with business and dev teams to translate business/functional requirements into technical specifications that drive Big Data solutions to meet functional requirements.

The ideal candidate must have one of the following domain knowledge areas: manufacturing, sales, supply chain, or finance.
