Senior Quality Test Engineer

Job Description

This role involves driving quality assurance and testing across the organization.

  1. Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction.
  2. Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality.
  3. Identify areas for cooperation with other teams to improve overall quality and, with peers or others, implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency.
  4. Configure, maintain, and/or administer testing tools or environments.
  5. Develop and execute automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification.
  6. Interact with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to plan testing for delivery of products and enhancements and to assure products meet product requirements and quality standards.
  7. Maintain flexibility to react quickly to changes in priorities or circumstances to meet the needs of the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of automation experience testing Salesforce.com applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Technical Skills

  1. Strong knowledge of Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) or Copado CI/CD pipelines
  2. Experience developing automated tests using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright
  3. Proficiency in test strategy, automation frameworks and version control
  4. Working knowledge of APIs, Salesforce data models and SOQL
  5. ISTQB, Copado Robotic Testing or Salesforce certifications
  6. Familiarity with CPQ testing, Visualforce, LWC (Lightning Web Components) and Apex
  7. Prior involvement in Agile/Scrum delivery models
  8. Strong analytical skills and a test-to-break mindset
  9. Strong understanding of QA methodologies
  10. Strong knowledge of process improvement
  11. Strong knowledge of the software development process
  12. Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  13. Experienced QA testing skills
  14. Ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing
  15. Understanding of industry trends
  16. Strong research skills (tools/root cause analysis)
  17. Exhibits innovative approaches to process improvement
  18. Strong written and oral communication
  19. Administration of testing tools/environments
