SAP FICO specialists are responsible for configuring and supporting SAP Financial Configuration and Compliance (FICO) modules. This includes setting up general ledger accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, etc.)
  • Design and implement solutions for Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Handle system configuration, testing, and issue resolution
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes
  • Conduct user training and documentation as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global environment
  • Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and projects

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP RAR
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes (P2P, O2C, Record to Report)
  • Experience with integration between FICO and other SAP modules (SD, MM, etc.)
  • Good understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
