Construction Project Manager

The role of Construction Project Manager involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from commencement to completion.

  • Developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Managing relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Coordinating site inspections, testing, and commissioning of installed systems.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitating communication among project team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Preparing and managing project reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Administering project finances, including invoicing, payment processing, and financial forecasting.
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of project management software, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong technical knowledge and effective communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
