Steel Structure Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Steel Structure Engineer to contribute to our engineering department. As a key team member, you will design and develop innovative steel structures that meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study structural drawings, reference models, and contractual documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Create 3D steel models coordinating with multiple disciplines.
  • Prepare structural 2D erection and shop drawings using Tekla Structures.
  • Interpret and incorporate approval comments, design changes, and other revisions into the project scope.
  • Manage multiple projects and prepare RFIs related to projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, with good understanding of Tekla required.
  • Experience working on international projects, with Finnish experience an advantage.
  • Practical experience in Idea statiCA is beneficial.
  • A high achiever with a desire for personal and professional growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with FEM competence considered advantageous.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
