Energy Storage Professional

We are seeking a skilled Energy Storage Professional to design and develop innovative battery-based energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical designs for battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA.
  • Conduct due diligence and owner's engineer services, reviewing technical documents and installations to determine their compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on current battery technologies and relate them to battery parameters.
  • Prepare FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems.
  • Manage bids and projects throughout their life cycle.
  • Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions on equipment as provided by the manufacturer and approved by manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field. Ph.D. holders welcome.
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Competent Microsoft office software skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Client management, team management, and process management skills.
  • Knowledge of other electrical and PV software is an added advantage.

  • Excellent electrical engineering knowledge.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of electrical and PV software.
