AI Model Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled AI Model Optimization Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, high-quality Python code to train and optimize AI models.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Python programming language concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes. They will also possess industry experience and knowledge of code quality, formatting, and best practices of software development.

In this role, you will work closely with researchers and annotators to execute Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) and refine reward models. You will design innovative evaluation strategies and processes to improve the model's alignment with user needs and ethical guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing efficient Python code to train and optimize AI models.
  • Evaluating and ranking AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains.
  • Developing comprehensive explanations and rationales for evaluations.
  • Leading efforts in Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT).
  • Collaborating with researchers and annotators on RLHF and reward model refinement.
  • Designing innovative evaluation strategies and processes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of strong experience with Python programming language concepts.
  • Industry experience and knowledge of code quality, formatting, and best practices of software development.
  • Experience with Python's testing ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Python.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Fluent in conversational and written English communication skills.
