Product Training Specialist

As a Product Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our sales and support teams with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Comprehensive Onboarding Programs: Design and deliver engaging onboarding training sessions for new team members, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Conduct Regular Refresher Courses: Organize regular refresher courses and training workshops on existing and newly launched products, ensuring that team members stay up-to-date on the latest formulations and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to stay informed about product updates, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Customize Training Materials: Develop tailored training materials and modules (PPTs, videos, SOPs) for diverse functions – sales, support, field reps, etc., ensuring that training content is relevant and engaging.
  • Assess Knowledge and Certify Performance: Plan and execute monthly quizzes, knowledge assessments, and certifications for continuous learning, recognizing team members' achievements and progress.
  • Call Quality Analysis: Monitor and audit daily inbound and outbound calls using CRM/call center platforms, evaluating calls based on tone, empathy, communication, product accuracy, sales technique, and resolution quality.
  • Develop Quality Scorecards and Dashboards: Create quality scorecards and maintain audit dashboards with performance trends and feedback, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identify Gaps and Intervene: Analyze call data to identify gaps in product knowledge or soft skills and plan targeted interventions to address these areas.
  • Business Development Alignment: Leverage your previous BD experience to coach teams on how to pitch our products more effectively, supporting script improvement for both inbound queries and outbound sales calls.
  • Analyze Objection Handling and Upsell/Cross-Sell Opportunities: Analyze objection handling, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and improve closure rates through targeted training.
  • Provide Feedback and Insights: Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports on training impact, call quality scores, and key improvement areas, maintaining logs of all feedback sessions and tracking post-coaching improvements.
  • Support Performance Management Processes: Collaborate with Team Leads, QA, and HR to support performance management processes, ensuring that team members receive constructive feedback and coaching.
