Key Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and timely resolution of end-user issues via telephone, web portal, or email.
- Provision new hires with required systems and setup.
- Prioritize incidents and service requests according to defined processes.
- Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities for support request resolution.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when necessary.
- Install and configure hardware and software components throughout various network infrastructure devices.
- Ensure virus definitions are up to date and install antivirus software.
- Administer servers via Active Directory, File and Print services, DNS, and DHCP.
- Maintain network firewalls and switches.
- Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Establish strong relationships with departments and colleagues.
- Ensure company safety and security standards are met.
- Design and architect network and server solutions.
- Migrate on-premises servers and IT infrastructure to the cloud.
- Enable advanced cybersecurity protection tools and processes.
- Provide L1 support across Windows & Linux platforms.
- Ensure seamless functioning of classroom IT systems.
- Support Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Assist with user account management, email setup, and software installation.
- Monitor system integrity and availability.
- Provide basic network troubleshooting and hands-on support for routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Escallate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams.
- Maintain inventory and documentation of assets, licenses, and configurations.
Requirements:
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, Server 2022, and Mac OS.
- Ability to write proposals for technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
- Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Active Directory knowledge and experience.
- Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and APs.
- RMM and PSA Experience.
