Risk Management Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and review credit risk models and associated frameworks in unsecured lending contexts.
  • Implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell and collections.
  • Regularly review portfolios based on various risk metrics to identify early warning signals and analyze portfolio trends to track quality against accepted risk parameters.
  • Ensure timely reviews of risk policies to reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite.
  • Analyze industry data at scale, prepare management information (MIS) dashboards and brief senior management on changing market conditions.
  • Conduct regular reviews of processes for adherence to risk policies and check if controls are effectively in place and functioning as intended.
  • Coordinate with teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable institution.
  • 3-6 years of experience in managing risk in a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), Fintech or lending institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and ability to bring insights.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical models.
  • Experience in Microfinance/MSME Lending is an added advantage.
