Charge Entry Team Lead Opportunity

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in charge entry operations to oversee and manage a team of professionals. Key responsibilities include timely and accurate data entry, ensuring that all relevant documentation is properly recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of charge entry specialists to achieve productivity targets and maintain quality standards.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate and efficient data entry into billing systems based on clinical documentation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily workload distribution and performance metrics to meet productivity and quality targets.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to team members for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and accuracy in charge entry processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement improvements initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Communication: Generate reports and provide regular updates to senior management on team performance and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Healthcare or Life Sciences preferred).
  • Experience: 4-8 years of experience in healthcare RCM, with at least 2 years in a team lead role for charge entry.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of physician billing, medical coding, and charge entry processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technology: Proficient in MS Office tools and medical billing software.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. Eye for detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
