About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating and revising technical documentation for electro-mechanical assemblies.

This includes Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Service Bulletins, and Temporary Revisions. You will interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams to write procedures and functional descriptions.

Your task is to ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, such as ATA iSpec 2200 and S1000D, regulatory requirements, like FAA and EASA, and internal quality guidelines.

Proficiency in structured documentation formats, such as XML or SGML, and tools like Adobe Illustrator and IsoDraw CAD Process are essential for this role. Strong knowledge of Simplified Technical English, ATA 100, and S1000D data module structure and CGM/SVG integration for illustrations is also required.

Additionally, experience working with CAD tools like CATIA V5, UG (NX), and SolidWorks to generate accurate visuals is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality guidelines
