As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our product lineup. Your expertise will help us develop innovative, efficient, and safe e-bikes that meet global standards.

About This Role

  • Knowledge of automobile systems, EV-related systems, especially two-wheelers.
  • Vehicle integration.
  • Engineering Bill of Materials (BoM) and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) management.
  • Proficiency in design and drafting of parts with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for vehicle systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of materials and material properties.
  • Strong ability to convert technical requirements into detailed and robust designs.
  • Knowledge of Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) and homologation requirements.
  • Benchmarking and coordination with suppliers for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is mandatory, along with hands-on experience in part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle-level layouts.
  • PLM knowledge.
  • Knowledge of HyperMesh and CAE analysis.

  • Good behavioral skills, including team participation, interpersonal skills, persuasiveness, self-discipline, conflict resolution, and communication.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic electronics knowledge is an added advantage.
