NDT Professional Opportunity

About the Role

As a seasoned Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) expert, you will play a pivotal part in the global purchasing organization at Siemens Energy. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct NDT on components for gas and steam turbines, both independently and in collaboration with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections in accordance with specifications to ensure high-quality results.
  • Perform technical reviews of documentation and provide formal feedback to stakeholders.
  • Conduct NDT at suppliers' premises, identifying and documenting any deviations from supplier results to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5 years of relevant professional experience in NDT of cast components and large steel fabrication.
  • Education background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Certification to ISO9712 or similar in VT, MT, PT, and UT to at least Level II is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA is essential.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and SAP is necessary for daily operations.
