Job Overview

The Security Operations Centre (SOC) plays a vital role in safeguarding digital assets from unauthorized access, identifying security incidents, and reporting to customers for both online and on-premises environments.

This position requires an Incident Responder who can remEDIATE serious attacks escalated from Tier 1, assess the scope of the attack, and affected systems, and collect data for further analysis. The candidate will work proactively to seek out weaknesses and stealthy attackers, review vulnerability assessments (CVEs) on monitored assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security events from various SOC entry channels (SIEM, Tickets, Email, and Phone)
  • Escalate to managed service support teams, tier 3 information security specialists, and/or customer as appropriate to perform further investigation and resolution
  • Conduct deep dives into datasets to understand what's happening during and after attacks
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure corporate data and technology platform components are safeguarded from known threats

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience as a SOC Analyst – Experience in SIEM Tool ELK & Wazuh preferable
  • Adherence to process and procedure
  • General network knowledge and TCP/IP Troubleshooting
  • Ability to trace down an endpoint on the network based on ticket information

Skills

We are looking for candidates with excellent event or log analytical skills, proven experience as IT Security Monitoring or similar role, exceptional organizing and time-management skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
