High-Quality FPGA Design Lead

We are currently seeking a seasoned Principal FPGA Engineer to spearhead the development of high-quality designs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering and experience working with DO-254 for DAL A/B projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop FPGA-based design from system requirements for new designs in compliance with DO-254 for DAL A/B projects
  • Lead or mentor small teams of designers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth and development
  • Capture device-level requirements from system hardware level requirements and develop FPGA design architecture
  • Re-engineer and manage obsolescence for FPGAs
  • Write VHDL RTL code, review, and implement in FPGA (Microchip, Intel, Altera, Xilinx)
  • Hands-on experience in designing with MPSOC and/or RFSOC FPGAs
  • Perform synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and verification issues to ensure robust and high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with multiple department teams and represent the company in various audits required throughout the product lifecycle
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (ECE, VLSI, or equivalent)
  • 12 years of industry experience in the development, integration, and verification of ASIC and FPGA
