Job Summary:

The primary function of this role is to provide end-to-end technical support for remote video conferencing and audio-visual services. This involves ensuring seamless operations for global meetings, events, and webcasts, as well as providing top-notch support to users and executives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Administration:
    • Coordinate conference room bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
    • Manage the associated service mailbox.
    • Analyze performance metrics and usage statistics.
    • Respond to and resolve technical issues related to AV and webcasting technologies.
    • Monitor support queues for current and upcoming AV technologies and webcast incidents.
    • Elevate complex issues to senior support teams or manufacturer/vendor support.
    • Participate in meetings regarding current and future AV systems.
    • Maintain and update training documentation.
  • Video Call and Webcast Support:
    • Verify that video endpoints are operational.
    • Manage incident response during live calls and webcasts.
    • Prepare and support webcast events, including creating event pages and conducting dry runs.
    • Troubleshoot issues during live webcasts.
    • Report viewer metrics during and after events.
    • Distribute recorded webcast sessions.
    • Coordinate technology scheduling for successful meetings.
    • Webcast Video on Demand Services:
    • Create and manage VOD directories for users.
    • Manage user groups and multimedia storage on the network.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to uploaded VOD content.
    • Provide training on new and existing video technologies.
    • Offer streaming metrics and analytics for hosted videos.
  • Commissioning Services:
    • Configure Cisco codecs and streaming encoders.
    • Test endpoints and network devices.
    • Review, verify, and backup configuration files for disaster recovery.
    • Support the commissioning and decommissioning of conference rooms and AV devices.
    • Conduct room testing, certification, and troubleshooting.
  • Application Support:
    • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for applications like MS Teams, Miro, and Vbrick.
    • Collaborate with Product Engineers to resolve application issues.
    • Elevate critical issues to senior engineering teams.
    • Assist users with application usage and remote training.
    • Manage support tickets within the ticketing system.
    • Administer access requests and maintain support documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in AV support, video conferencing, and webcast management.
  • Familiarity with Cisco Video Codecs, VBrick Rev, and related infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and documentation management.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of webcast and streaming platforms.
  • Experience with AV commissioning and room setup.
  • Able to train end-users on AV technologies.
