Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Manufacturing Excellence Manager.

  • To identify and deliver service improvement activities across the business by employing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
  • To work with key stakeholders and the multi-jurisdictional 'Centre of Excellence' to build a continuous improvement environment for ongoing manufacturing transformation.
  • To support the delivery of better value and efficiency through identifying and eliminating unnecessary complexity in business processes.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a best-in-class continuous improvement strategy.
  • Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through project delivery via internal governance and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing the standard world-class manufacturing framework across pan-India plants.
  • Working with other team members and departments to devise new support materials based on revised processes.
  • Monitoring project risks and proactively identifying solutions to address potential problems.
  • Ensuring business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported, and managed.
  • Sets up programs, delivers coaching, and runs projects across plants.
  • Completing post-implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and improvements can be made.
  • Improving efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites.
  • Implementing lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
  • Supporting plant teams in benchmarking, solutions, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing policy deployment within the business.
  • Conducting risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
  • Providing ongoing learning and development opportunities for employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
  • Cultivating teamwork and facilitating individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Managing cross-functional team members.
