Backend Engineer

The Data Platform Tech Team plays a vital role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

We build and manage the core infrastructure and tools required to collect, store, process, and analyze data at scale.

Our platforms support self-serve capabilities for both batch and real-time data processing.

We work closely with Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams to power a wide range of data use cases.

We aim to create a robust backend system that can handle high traffic and provide efficient data processing.

This is achieved by implementing scalable architectures, optimizing code performance, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer who can take ownership of developing and maintaining our backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles, experience with modern programming languages, and a passion for building scalable and efficient systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust backend systems using clean coding practices and agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other systems and services, including APIs, databases, and messaging systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize backend systems for better performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the growth of the development team.
