Job Summary

SimplifyVMS is a leading global SAAS provider of contingent workforce VMS solutions and one of the fastest growing extended workforce technology providers globally.

We are seeking highly talented Senior PHP Developers with Laravel or YII framework experience to lead the evolution of our application into a modern, scalable, and AI-first SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy services using modular, independent structures and follow best practices.
  • Create well-defined APIs for communication between microservices and integrate third-party services as needed.
  • Optimize the platform for scalability, high availability, and performance by implementing caching, load balancing, and other techniques.
  • Design and implement relevant multi-tenancy features securely.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Follow coding standards, review code, and mentor junior developers to maintain a high-quality codebase.
  • Create technical documentation for architecture, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Work closely with development teams, product managers, and DevOps engineers to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel or YII framework.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing services architecture.
  • Previous work on transitioning monolithic applications to SaaS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in database design, including multi-tenancy considerations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
