Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in the team, responsible for processing transactions, events, or data. This position requires a high level of accuracy and timeliness, with a focus on complex or regulated tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process timely, complete, and accurate financial transactions within own area of responsibility
  • Apply all internal and external policies/guidelines and requirements of regulators and to agreed SLAs, KRIs, and/or KPIs and quality measures
  • Maintain relationships with clients to provide a point of contact within the team for time-critical, complex, or regulated tasks
  • Contribute to product/function development to ensure a superior offering in the face of changing client needs and market trends
  • Elevate operational, regulatory, and other risks to line manager and functional leads as appropriate; contribute to the development and implementation of mitigation or control solutions
  • Collaborate effectively within own team, providing support and guidance to colleagues to create and foster an environment of continuous improvement
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant experience in one or more specific technical areas, reconciliations experience an added advantage
  • Product and system knowledge in the product line
  • Basic analytical skills, flexible regarding problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and local language (written/verbal)
  • Ability to work in virtual teams and matrix organizations
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments, keep pace with technical innovation and maintain a broad understanding of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience working with data in a related field
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
