Hashroot Technologies Private Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems that drive the efficiency of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Backend Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
  • API Design: Design and implement APIs and integration solutions to support business needs.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while following best practices in backend development.
  • Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure system reliability.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation to streamline deployment processes.
  • Staying Updated: Stay updated on the latest backend development trends and tools to introduce innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
  • API Development: Knowledge of REST, RESTful API, SOAP, GraphQL, WebSocket, Server-Sent Events (SSE), gRPC.
  • Testing & Quality: Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), integration testing (Selenium, Testcontainers, Cucumber), and performance testing (Gatling).
  • Build & CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Bamboo, and Azure DevOps.
  • Development & Collaboration Tools: Experience with Git, Atlassian Jira, and Atlassian Confluence.
  • Quality & Security: Knowledge of SonarQube, SonarCloud, Findbugs, PMD, OWASP Checker.
  • Spring Ecosystem: Experience with Spring Data, Spring REST, Spring MVC, and Spring Batch.
  • Java Commons: Familiarity with Apache Commons.
  • API Documentation: Knowledge of OpenAPI and Swagger.
  • Containerization & Cloud: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Enterprise & Messaging: Knowledge of Java EE (EJB, CDI, JPA, JSF, JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JMS), Quarkus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.
  • Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Neo4j.
  • Security & Authentication: Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SAML.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Experience with frontend application monitoring, logging, and tracing.
  • Operating Systems & Scripting: Familiarity with Linux and Shell Scripting.
